Phoenix Batteries is Pakistan’s nationwide and one of the highest-selling brands, with an annual production of more than 2 million batteries. They manufacture batteries for various industries and also export them.
Their batteries are used in cars, motorcycles, trucks, and tractors, while the tabular batteries are used in UPS, inverters, and solar appliances.
A Brand Ready for Visual Upgrade
With rising competition in the industry, Phoenix Batteries’ goal was to be one of the leading companies. For this purpose, they wanted to revamp their product photography in a way that their competitors were doing. Considering the intense competition, they needed crisp photographs to give a premium look without compromising the product size.
Moreover, they wanted 3D product modeling for their website to showcase their batteries in a more detailed way, so the customers could view them from a 360-degree angle.

The Real Work Began Here
The project came with a few challenges. The main challenge was the weight of the battery. The batteries we received were too heavy to carry and handle freely during the shoot.
Another challenge was that the batteries they were manufacturing and the images they required were of very different quality. They were looking for high-quality professional photographs that could elevate their brand’s standard.
Finding Solutions Behind the Camera
We approached this project strategically. Since the batteries were heavy and difficult to work with, our team removed the engineering components to reduce weight. This allowed us to handle the products safely while capturing crisp and precise images. This demonstrated our team’s thoughtful approach.
Before the shoot, our team conducted product evaluations to determine the most effective camera angles, lighting ratios, and compositions for each battery category.
Product Photography Setup
For product photography, we used a high-resolution full-frame camera setup paired with professional macro and portrait lenses to capture sharp details, textures, and branding elements. Multiple strobe lights with large softboxes were strategically positioned to create controlled highlights while minimizing reflections on glossy surfaces.
3D Modeling Setup
For the 3D modeling process, the batteries were photographed from multiple angles to accurately recreate dimensions, textures, labels, and surface details. The final models were optimized for web performance, allowing smooth 360-degree interaction without sacrificing quality.
Beyond studio shots, we created lifestyle visuals that showed the products in use, making their purpose and practicality easier to understand.
