Client Overview

Our client, based in the UAE, is an emerging Abaya startup focused on empowering women who wear Long shirt, Suit and Abaya—whether casually, at weddings, or during special events. Their goal is to design modern yet modest abayas that cater to contemporary women’s fashion preferences while respecting traditional values. The brand offers online and offline purchase options, ensuring accessibility for all customers.

Objective

The client approached ArtxFilms to create a complete visual campaign that could effectively represent their new abaya collection. The aim was to produce content suitable for e-commerce, digital marketing, and social media promotions, showcasing both elegance and everyday wearability.

Our Approach

Since the client was located overseas, all communication was handled online, ensuring smooth coordination despite the distance. Our team maintained consistent and transparent communication, which played a key role in building trust and understanding the brand’s vision.

We offered a budget-friendly production plan that included:

  • Full shoot planning and concept development
  • Model selection and styling
  • Set design and background arrangement
  • Lighting setup (plain, texture background, and spotlights)
  • Photography and video production (Reels)
  • Makeup and styling coordination

The shoot took place in our own studio, which gave us complete creative control over lighting, texture, and setup variations.

Execution

The shoot lasted for about 12–13 hours, covering 12 different abayas — including 3–4 scarf abayas and the remaining non-scarf designs. Each abaya represented a unique story, from casual elegance to event-ready sophistication.

Our makeup artist tailored looks according to each abaya’s tone and fabric, while our model’s energy and professionalism made the entire process seamless. Her positive attitude and cooperation helped us achieve results beyond expectations.

To enhance the overall visual appeal, we also incorporated jewelry by Baap.pk, which added a refined touch to the looks.

Lighting & Background

We experimented with three lighting styles:

  1. Plain light setup – to emphasize minimal and clean aesthetics.
  2. Texture background – to create depth and luxury.
  3. Plain + Spot light combination – to highlight product details and shine.

These variations helped us achieve a balance between editorial elegance and e-commerce readiness.

Challenges & Solutions

Working with an international client always comes with communication and coordination challenges. However, our timely updates, flexible approach, and professional transparency helped us overcome all hurdles. Despite being based in different countries, we completed the entire shoot and delivered final results within just 6–7 days, including editing and post-production.

Results

The client was highly satisfied with the outcome. The visuals not only matched their brand identity but also helped boost online engagement and sales conversion. Each abaya looked distinctive, high-end, and relatable for their target audience.
