TB Awareness Documentary

TB Awareness Documentary

A Story of Hope and Healing

Tuberculosis (TB) a disease often feared, misunderstood, and hidden in silence. To change this narrative, Indus Hospital in collaboration with end TB and IRD Pakistan took a powerful initiative to create a documentary video production for awareness that brings real voices and real stories to light.

The ideation for this impactful campaign came from artxpro, while the execution and production were led by artxfilms. Together, the teams worked to craft something beyond visuals a message of hope, healing, and humanity.

The Vision Behind the Video

The aim of the documentary videography was to show that TB is treatable, manageable, and nothing to be ashamed of. Through three distinct documentaries, the project highlighted different perspectives from doctors and healthcare workers to patients and their families all united by one message:

Darr nahi, ilaaj zaroori hai.

Care That Travels

Care That Travels

One of the key moments of the documentary focused on the hospital journey, where every frame captured the compassion and dedication of the doctors and staff at Indus Hospital.

From the first moment of diagnosis to the last day of treatment, the video followed how doctors counsel patients, explain the importance of medication, and guide them about hygiene, distancing, and daily care. Candid shots showed doctors checking patients with patience and empathy, and health workers ensuring no detail was left unsaid.

 emotional side

The team also captured the emotional side of the story, how staff often become a patient’s biggest support system.

The patient interviews became the soul of the video. People shared their struggles from initial fear to eventual recovery. Many spoke about how the doctors not only treated their illness but also restored their confidence and dignity. Families recalled the difficult nights, endless worry, and finally, the relief of seeing their loved ones smile again.

Beyond Hospital Walls

Beyond Hospital Walls

During shooting, the team accompanied the outreach staff on a home visit. It was an eye-opening moment seeing how far the hospital’s care truly reaches. When patients cannot visit the hospital, staff members personally go to their homes for tests and medicine.

One field worker shared:

Jab hum kisi door basti mein jate hain aur koi maa dua deti hai lagta hai saari thakan door ho gayi.

That day, the team traveled through narrow streets and dusty roads to meet a patient who hadn’t been able to come for weeks. When the staff handed him his medicine, he smiled weakly and whispered.  That moment became the emotional heartbeat of the video, a reminder that healthcare is not just treatment, it’s a human connection.

The Hope it Restored

The documentaries created were used to be shown in hospitals, communities, and digital platforms. The goal was to help people understand that TB is not a death sentence; it’s a disease that can be treated with the right care and timely action.

Through these stories, the audience witnessed courage, compassion, and the power of empathy. The campaign inspired many people to get tested, continue their treatment, and, most importantly, not to lose hope.

With Indus Hospital, end TB, and IRD Pakistan leading the way and artxpro and artxfilms bringing the stories to life, the documentary stands as a testament that: TB isn’t something to fear, it’s something we can beat with care.
